Returns & Refund Policy

At Cookie Cutter Department, we take pride in our "baker-tested" quality. Because our products are high-quality, self-3D-printed tools, we have specific guidelines regarding returns to ensure food safety and product integrity.

 

1. Returns & Exchanges

  • Food Safety: Due to the nature of our products being used with food, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for a "change of mind" once the item has been shipped.

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel your order, please contact hello@cookiedepartment.com.au within 12 hours of purchase. Once the Bambu Lab A1 has begun the printing process for your specific order, cancellations may no longer be possible.

     

2. Damaged or Defective Items

We stand by the structural soundness of our designs, including our sharp cutting edges and sturdy gripping rims.

  • Manufacturing Defects: If your cutter arrives with a significant 3D printing error that affects its functionality, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Transit Damage: Despite being lightweight and durable, items can occasionally be damaged during shipping.

  • Action Required: Please email us at hello@cookiedepartment.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will prioritize a replacement print for you immediately at no extra cost.

3. Heat Damage & Improper Care

Please note that our cutters are made from food-safe PETG.

  • Not Dishwasher Safe: 3D-printed plastic will warp or melt if exposed to high temperatures (above 50°C).

  • Exclusion: We do not offer refunds or replacements for cutters that have been damaged due to dishwasher use, exposure to boiling water, or being left in a hot car. Please follow the hand-wash-only instructions provided on our product pages.

4. Refunds

  • If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
